Master dance maker Sara Shelton Mann engages the group in solo archetypal research informed by her current project,’ Eye of Leo’.

Dive into Shelton Mann’s meta-concept and creative methods, negotiate your own interests through the materials, and develop creative intuition, practices and processes as you make new solo work. Perform for each other often and receive feedback from a revered and award-winning choreographer and the participating artists.

Sara will be teaching at Bearnstow, on Parker Pond in Maine, from July 1 to 12, 2013.

This performance intensive will be co-facillitated with Ruth Grauert.

A rare opportunity to discover the origins of the Nikolai philosophy with Ruth, his first company member, and Sara, who pursed her research from that source.
