BLISS & EMPTINESS / From Dance to Performance Art

I’m teaching/sharing some fun tools for people interested in shifting and integrating movement modalities towards performance persona. We’ll use chi and improvisational warm-ups to get in the body, and you will build a choreographic platform that we can then deconstruct. Working from such a platform, or phrase, is essential to: Condense and expand time and space. Receive and transform energy that comes to you. Become empty and clear. Project and clarify states and intentions. Work within a small frame and get very powerful.

P.O.R.C.H. Choreographic Module – Study and Research 

Sara will be teaching alongside Stephanie Maher tools for improvising, writing and composing. Their professional training intensive will be August 20-24 at PONDEROSA–an international artist-run organization in Stolzenhagen, Germany.
