Moving Alchemy I

The Moving Alchemy Training will dive deeply into my unique teaching, improvisation, and performance practice.

All modules will be 3 full days of practice and research and take place at the Joe Goode Annex in San Francisco.

About Level I:

The beginning level is open to everyone. It will include movement exploration as a collaboration of technique and improvisation, writing for the love of it, healing modalities, performance practices, image making and personal research.

This training is guided by your curiosity and engagement in traveling the path of creative endeavors and healing. It is open to all who want to expand and enter the interdisciplinary questions that come with practicing alongside someone in a different artistic language and form.

The Moving Alchemy Training Manual will be our textbook and guide. The beginning Level I will include all aspects of “Solo Neutral Follow “ with tracking in other environments and reading others’ energy. “Ten Ways” will anchor you in short clips, director/collaborator roles, and expansion into applications still untried.  It includes writing lists, editing, partnerships, and developing choreographic prompts.

Schedule:

Morning will be a presentation of material followed by practice.

Afternoons will include application, collaboration, discussion, and questions.
