Visual artist, Amy Trachtenberg will share a selection of projected images showing processes of discovery, improvisation, and creation for studio pieces and site specific installation projects. She will be in conversation with photo-based artist Hillary Goidell.
This event is free/by donation.
Artists’ Bios:
Amy Trachtenberg is a multidisciplinary artist whose work includes painting, collage, sculpture, installation, poetry and public projects. Diverse in their scale and material sources, hybrid paintings and structures are in relationship between space, light, the body and everyday objects.
Hillary Goidell is a photo-based artist whose work centers on the body, individual and collective, and considers the complexities of its form, incarnations, and constant recalibrations.
